      LEDA has partnered with Ottawa Count to strengthen their capacity to advance racial equity within the region. LEDA's customized consulting and training for the county has been successful in prompting various racial equity practices and procedures including: a blind hiring pilot program, changes within the applicant tracking system which allows increased functions for diverse hiring best practices, participation in the Government Alliance on Racial Equity and the GARE HR work-group, Cultural Intelligence Training for 600+ employees, and hiring of an HR Manager whose subject matter expertise is in racial equity as HR Manager.       Cultural Intelligence Center (CIC) works across the United States and internationally. Their wide variety of audiences include corporate organizations, educational institutions, governments, and non-profits.

      Programs

      Training focuses on helping people work across difference - whether it is racial, ethnic, religious, gender, work function (e.g. sales and operations), generational, etc. Some of their services include:

      • Assessments for measuring cultural intelligence (one's capability for working and relating effectively across cultures), as well as understanding and mapping cultural values.
      • Workshops and seminars on cultural intelligence and managing unconscious bias.
      •  eLearning courses. Individuals can also use their assessments and access some of the online resources.
      • Consulting or coaching including conducting an in-depth study of the state DE&I within an organization and work with the organization to integrate cultural intelligence across the organization.
      • CIC also certifies individuals to use their assessments and facilitate workshops on cultural intelligence and managing unconscious bias.
